About Gemma

We took in Gemma to help a friend who's relative had some unexpected health conditions and surgeries and was no longer able to care for her. We agreed to try to find her a good home. We don't have a lot of information, we were told she is a Walker/Springer mix, but we only see the Walker in her. She is super sweet, loves to cuddle when she's not nose-to-the-ground! We don't know the level of training she's had, but in the time we've had her, she does ok on a leash and was fine with a bath. There has definitely been no formal training. She is totally comfortable with our dog and timid with new people, but seemed to settle in well with us in a day. She chases the cat - probably because the cat runs. We have taken her to the vet to get her current on vaccines and for a general health check. She will need her last vaccines for the year in 3 weeks and vet says she looks like a healthy girl.
