About Brixton

Brixton is an Australian Shepherd (7 years old). He is loving, and loyal, he has been wonderful companion to our family. Unfortunately, we are currently facing an unexpected and difficult situation. We recently welcomed a newborn into our family who has been diagnosed with a medical condition. As we adjust to the demands of his care, we've come to the heartbreaking realization that we can no longer provide the time and attention that Brixton deserves. He is a very energetic dog. He loves to spend his days outside chasing things and playing fetch and absolutely loves to run. He does not get along with male dogs very well. He would do best being the only dog. He needs an owner that can keep up with his high energy or someone with property where he can run / be given jobs. He does not do too well with kids. I have a two year old as well and he would rather not be bothered by him. Brixton is very loyal and loves attention as well. My priority is to ensure he goes to a safe and caring home where he will be loved and well cared for.
