About Moze

Moze was rehomed to us in Sept 2024. Previous owners mentioned growling when their toddler pulled on his face but no other issues. However, he has larger sensory issues and will growl when pet or touched at times. He bit my boyfriend during the first week when we tried to trim the hair on his face. He has resource guarding issues - growls at us when he eats and gets possessive and aggressive over toys/bones. He has snipped at a neighbor dog when playing fetch twice but did not react when an aggressive dog lunged at him while on a walk. Seems okay with other dogs unless there are toys or food involved. He is good with our cat but will growl at her if he gets possessive. The previous owners were not fully upfront with us about all his issues, and while we have tried to research options and work with him, we are not equipped to handle these behaviors. He could be a great dog to someone who has the time and expertise to work with him.
