About Spud

Meet Spud-a lovable goofball with a heart of gold. I found him on the side of the road digging into a potato chip bag (hence the name!), extremely malnourished and in rough shape. Since then, he's started his journey to recovery and is already blossoming into the sweetest, most cuddly little guy you could hope to meet. Spud is likely experiencing life indoors for the first time in his 8-12 month old life-and he's obsessed. He loves lounging on every soft bed he can find and has just started showing his playful side now that he feels safe. He adores people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is unbothered by the cats in the house. He's especially eager to play with my older dog, even though his energy isn't always matched! Despite his rough start, Spud is incredibly smart and eager to please. He learned 'sit' almost immediately and is made quick work of potty training. He's super food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. Spud is still gaining weight and building strength, but what he needs most now is a forever home full of love, patience, and continued guidance as he learns how to just be a dog. Spud is awaiting neutering, but is current on vaccinations and has no other health issues. If you're looking for a loyal cuddle bug with a goofy streak and tons of love to give, Spud might be your perfect match.
