About Romeo

Hi there, I'm Romeo - and I'm living proof that love can survive anything. ?? When the amazing people at REAL Rottweiler Rescue found me, I was barely holding on. My body was covered in wounds. I was skin and bones, malnourished, and so weak I could hardly stand. I had every reason to give up on humans�'�| but I didn't. Somehow, my heart never stopped believing in love. Even in my darkest moments, I still wagged my tail. I still leaned in for gentle pets. I still wanted to trust, to be held, to be loved. And now, after so much care and healing, I'm getting stronger every day. My wounds are healing, my body is filling out, and my spirit? It never left. They named me Romeo, and I think it suits me - I'm a lover, through and through. I get along great with other dogs, I adore people, and I'm just an all-around good guy with a gentle soul and a big heart. I don't carry the pain of my past - I only carry hope for my future. I'm still on the road to recovery, but what I'm really hoping for now is someone to walk the rest of the road with me - someone who sees the light in me, even after all the darkness I've endured.
