About Susie Rein

'Susie Rein' was saved from Harris County Shelter on her euth date just in time due to overcrowding. She was marked as a chocolate lab mix but I believe she is Kelpie. I worked with a rescue team to pull her out of the shelter and transport her to Athens, AL will the ultimate goal to find her forever home. She is super sweet with kids, dogs, cats, & adults. She has learned to sit and stay and even wait within a week. She loves to be outside and will be best to live somewhere with plenty of room to run. Kelpies need two hours of exercise a day along with mental stimulation because they are highly active and smart. She is loyal and super soft. She lets me give her baths and pets and lays down beside me. She is desperate for a place where she can work her kelpie roots and would make an excellent member to a family. She does not do well in crates due to her shelter background but she is a quick learner and would potty train easily. I'm working on that with her now. If you're looking to SAVE a life for a dog that would have been killed last week and giving her a second chance this is her. Again, adorably sweet and loving and loyal! Simply needs room to run daily!
