Dylan is an extremely loyal, loving, and playful, two-year-old, 66-pound, male black and tan German Shepherd with warm brown eyes looking for a loving guardian. Found stray, Dylan is a 'love the one you're with' kind of guy! He is incredibly loving and loyal to his person. And, that transfers to whoever he happens to be with. However, Dylan is not a city dog. He can get barky at some dogs and some people when out on walks. He's lived with a female dog previously, so he might not be a dog park or doggie daycare dog '| but he can get along with a companion dog. Dylan has been in an intense professional dog training program for the past three weeks where he is learning commands, and social skills. Whoever adopts Dylan will be lucky to have a well-trained dog, and whoever adopts him will get some refresher training lessons on how to work best with him. Dylan is housebroken, crate-trained, and takes treats very gently from your fingers. He is very healthy, recently neutered, fecal-tested and dewormed, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, leptospirosis, and bordetella vaccines, microchipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits Rescue. He comes complete with absolutely everything you need to care for him. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Dylan, please fill in an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up by contacting [email protected] to make an appointment to meet him. He is currently being fostered in Chicago.
