About May

May is a loving and sweet dog. Once she finds her person/people, she is attached to them. May attaches quicker to females than males. May would best fit a home where one or both of the owners works from home as she gets anxiety when left alone and does not like loud noises/thunderstorms. She needs 2 to 3 weeks to settle into her new environment before her real personality comes through. May is kennel trained and is able to spend the day in it if necessary. May loves to go on walks, without multiple walks per day, she will have accidents in the house. May was originally adopted from the SPCA by a family. The family could not keep her due to scheduling issues and passed her onto a friend. This friend asked for us to take May as she had 4 other dogs and unfortunately May did not get along with 1 of them. We have had May since December 2024. After allowing May to settle into her new home, she was able to get along well with our dog. She also gets along well with our two young children.
