About Mario and Luigi

It breaks our hearts that we must rehome our precious boys. Our lifestyle is changing and they need more than we can give them. We absolutely will not be surrendering them to the Dumb Friends League or anything like that. They must have a home where they can thrive and have the attention and space that they need. If you are not prepared to give them the home they need, please don't contact me. These boys are bonded since 12 weeks old. They are not from the same litter. But they are from the same breeder. They absolutely must stay together. Mario is the brown one and is more energetic than Luigi. He likes to jump on top of upper kitchen cabinets. Luigi sometimes jumps on high places, just not as much as Mario. They love to chew on stuffed toys, even without catnip. They love to chase springs and balls that they bat around. Mario is the dominant one. He will curl up at your feet when he wants to. Luigi is more likely to. Luigi is more docile and doesn't mind being picked up and carried briefly. Mario, not so much. They both need to be subdued when going to the vet. Mario requires a considerable amount of sedation. We do not clip their claws. Luigi is a picky eater. He prefers wet food, whereas Mario will eat just about anything. We mix a little wet food in with the dry so Luigi will eat it. They only drink water from a fountain bowl, and Luigi loves to play in it too. He'll put his paw in the flow of water and watch where it lands. Neither of them are very shy when strangers come over. They are such sweet and loving kitties. But, they need the attention we can no longer give them. We will not ship them. We will deliver anywhere in Colorado though. They come with their certificates and veterinary records.
