About Mercedes

Mercedes is the queen of her little pack of siblings. They were born in the transport van on March 26th on the way to their foster home and have lived in luxury ever since. Mercedes is 12-weeks old and is not afraid of adventure - she definitely has the heart and attitude of a dachshund. Mercedes is the biggest of her siblings and loves to explore. Outside, she is fearless, curious and ready to meet someone to take her on more adventures. She loves rolling in the grass, sniffing her way around this big world and finding sticks and leaves to steal from her siblings. Inside, she loves to play keep away, tug of war and, if no one will play, she'll just play with her stuffy toys. She enjoys long naps on soft blankets, especially in the sun, so she can be rested when it's time to play or have an adventure. When it's time to nap, if there's a lap available, she'll happily occupy it. Mercedes is spayed, UTD on shots (but will need more) and HW negative. For her safety, she will need a good fence for when she is old enough and big enough to play outside on her own. She likes to see if gates are locked or holes in fences can be enlarged, just to keep you on your toes. She's not trying to run away, she just has opinions about where she should be allowed to go!
