Please read the bio in full for answers to your questions. In the event you have a question that is not covered in the bio, please email [email protected]. If interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application which can be found at https://seniordoghaven.org/adoption-process/. Please note that because all our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to set up meetings with a dog unless we have a completed adoption application on file. Adoptions must be within a reasonable distance from Middletown, DE for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in-person home visit. Mubby is a 10 year old 17 lb. toy poodle. Mubby found himself all alone in a scary local shelter, and we knew he deserved a second chance. Now safe and loved, this sweet senior is ready to find his forever home. Mubby is a gentle, affectionate little guy who thrives on love and attention. He's a certified couch potato and a professional snuggler, always happiest curled up by your side. Despite his age and limited vision/hearing, Mubby enjoys leisurely walks and navigates ramps like a pro. A fenced-in yard would be ideal to keep him safe while he explores. Mubby wears a belly band as he's not fully housebroken, and stairs should be limited due to his eyesight. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, and would do best in a home with older children who can respect his needs. Health-wise, Mubby has a grade V heart murmur and takes daily medication (approx. $130/month). Because of his heart condition, he can't undergo a dental procedure, so he enjoys a soft-food diet-which he absolutely loves! If you're looking to share your home with a sweet, quiet senior who just wants to be loved, Mubby might be your perfect match. Apply to adopt Mubby today and give this lovable old soul the comfort and care he truly deserves.
