About Misha

URGENT: Foster or Adopter Needed for Misha! Her Life Depends On It! Video included. Misha's story is heartbreaking, and now more than ever, she needs a hero. Months ago, Misha was found alone and injured after being hit by a car. Despite every effort to find her owner, no one came forward. She made an incredible recovery and has shown nothing but love and resilience through it all. But now, her future is in serious danger. The woman currently caring for Misha who originally planned to keep her can no longer do so due to health issues and is desperate to be rid of her. She says it's taking too long to find her a new home. She's threatening to take Misha to a shelter or worse, dump her somewhere or drop her off in the desert. We don't trust that Misha will remain safe in this situation. Her life is truly at risk. Misha is no longer in a safe place. She could be abandoned in an unfamiliar area where she might get hit by another car, attacked by a larger dog, or fall victim to coyotes. She is too small, too sweet, and too gentle to survive out there on her own. Please, help us save her before it's too late. About Misha: Age: 1 1/2 to 2 years old. Breed: Lab mix. Size: Small to Medium (about 25 lbs). Temperament: Incredibly sweet and affectionate. Great with other dogs. Playful and eager to please. Knows several commands. Walks on a leash.
