About Fixie

Fixie, a loving and very sweet ~6-7 year old Black Mouth Cur is in search of a new home. She is super sweet but her family is looking to rehome her due to her high prey drive and dog reactivity/aggression.She would really thrive in a home with a high fenced yard (6' or higher) and a home with adults and/or teens. She is great on a leash and loves to just hang out in the yard or on the couch with her people. She is a great listener, is easily trainable, and is looking for an owner/person that will be in it with her for the long haul and can give her some stability. I am her regular dog sitter/walker and can vouch for how wonderful she is- I just don't have the housing that is right for her, otherwise I would adopt her myself. There is a small rehoming fee just to make sure she goes to a good home that will love her and treat her well.
