Meet Effie, a one-of-a-kind, 7-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to give up. Effie was once on the kill list at a shelter - her life hanging by a thread. Thankfully, she was rescued in time and is now safe in boarding, but she spends most of her days in a kennel, waiting... hoping�'�| for someone to choose her. We don't know everything she's been through, but it's clear she's a survivor. Effie lost one of her ears somewhere along the way, but if you ask us, that just makes her even more special - her one 'bunny ear' gives her the quirkiest, most adorable look you've ever seen. She's unique, inside and out.
