About Honey

Hi, I'm Honey - and yes, I'm just as sweet as my name. I'm about 3-4 years old, 70lbs, and I'm the kind of dog who notices the small things-soft voices, gentle hands, quiet kindness. It takes me a little while to trust new people, but once I do, I'll show you the warm, loyal heart I've been keeping safe all this time. I've lived with another dog before, and I get along with other pups-especially with a proper introduction. I'm already making new dog friends here at the rescue, which is helping me come out of my shell a little more every day. One thing to note though; I prefer a home without cats. One thing I am confident about? Walks! I'm great on a leash and enjoy peaceful strolls by your side. What I really need now is someone with patience-someone who understands that some of us bloom a little slower, but we're worth every minute of the wait.
