About LOTUS

Lotus is just 6-7 months old-and already on the euthanasia list. This baby girl has been failed not once, but twice. Returned to the shelter for a second time, not because she's done anything wrong, but because too many people think they're ready for a puppy�'�| and aren't. Lotus is everything a puppy should be-wiggly, sweet, eager to please. She loves treats (especially cheese!), enjoys car rides, is crate trained, and already knows cues like sit, down, stay, and 'show me your belly.' She's social, affectionate, and soaking up the world one curious moment at a time. But she's also still a baby. Puppies need patience. They need consistency, structure, and people who understand that raising a dog is a commitment, not a phase. Lotus doesn't need another home that gives up-she needs one that shows up. She's on the list through no fault of her own, and her time is running out.
