About Jade

Over 2 months in PA and not a single application! How?! This gorgeous girl is just looking for a family to love and to share her fun loving personality with. Born in a shelter in Georgia with 7 other siblings, she is growing up in rescue. While very loved she is ready to bond to her forever people! Jade is a 4 1/2 month old mixed breed weighing 23 pounds. She is expected to be 45-55 pounds full grown. Not too big and not too small! The perfect size to take on all your adventures. Which is great because this girl is awesome in the car and doing great with her leash skills. She is a bold and confident girl ready to take on the world! Jade is a social butterfly who has been to many events with the rescue and gets along great with everyone including dogs of all sizes! She is very playful, but submissive in her play. She loves to give her foster siblings kisses, her favorite foster sibling is a 100 lb mastiff! Jade is also wonderful with all humans, including children. She loves to snuggle and take a nap with you once she is done playing. While she doesn't live with cats, she shares her backyard with goats and has learned to leave them alone. She has met a barn cat and of course wants to play with everything she meets, but with correction there is no reason she can't coexist happily with kitty friends! Jade never means any harm, she just loves life and to have fun! In foster care Jade has learned so much! She is fully crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate. She is doing great with her house training on a consistent schedule. She is a smart girl ready to learn and very food motivated! She loves to chew on her bones and loves to hang outside in the sun. Jade is up to date on vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed prior to 7 months of age. Ready to give this sweet girl a chance?! Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter.
