Available for adoption through PNW Cattle Dog Rescue Northwest Blue is a striking 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog with the heart of an explorer and the soul of a loyal companion. He's the perfect blend of youthful energy and thoughtful maturity, ready to embark on life's next great adventure with you. True to his breed, Blue thrives on both mental and physical enrichment. He's happiest when he has a job to do-whether that's hiking the trails by your side, learning new tricks, or helping you around the yard. He's sharp, eager to please, and quick to pick up on training. Blue would flourish with an adopter who understands the joys of living with a herding breed and is ready to give him the structure and engagement he craves. Blue gets along wonderfully with children and other dogs, making him a fantastic addition to an active family. However, he's not a fan of cats and will do best in a feline-free home. He's crate-trained, house-trained, and is working hard on polishing up his leash manners-he's already making great strides! His ideal home will be one that appreciates his active nature and is committed to keeping both his body and mind fulfilled. Whether it's agility, nose work, hiking, or just interactive play, Blue is up for it all. He's also a world-class cuddler when the day winds down, and he'll happily relax with you after a day well spent. Please note: We do not do DNA testing on all our foster dogs. The breed description may be our best guess based on the dog's appearance, mother's appearance, paperwork, etc. Blue is neutered/spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on his core vaccines. He is being fostered in Keizer/Salem, OR.
