Hello FCCR friends!!! My name is Emmy and I am 3.5 year old, 20 lb Maltipoo (my parents were a Maltese and a Poodle). The nice ladies at FCCR saved me from a loud shelter where I was scared and nervous and promised me a new life where I would be safe and loved. I can't wait to find my forever home. ��%8F� Is that with YOU?! My life before coming here was ruff and I still get nervous with new people and places. I prefer a quiet home�'�|I take it slow when I meet new humans but once I know I am safe, I will lay in your lap for cuddles, sleep through the night with you in the big bed, and even talk to you!! I am ready to give you my whole heart and will be your faithful companion. I don't want to share you with any other fur kids (no other dogs or cats) so I would like to find an ADULT-ONLY (NO KIDS) home where I can be your one and ONLY fur princess. I have great house manners so I'm an easy housemate and can be left on my own when you go out. I like getting out into the world ���Z and enjoy car ��s� rides and going on walks. I walk nicely on my leash and mind my manners�'�|I don't bother or bark at other walkers or dogs. What I enjoy the MOST though is playing in a backyard and laying in the sun. I feel safest in a fenced-in backyard so I'm hoping my new home will have one of those. I am not a fan of pools or rain ��ӕ�%8F or thunderstorms�'�|I prefer to be in your lap when those are happening. My foster mommy is helping me build my confidence for all of life's experiences. I now LOVE toys and playing with them. I am smart and enjoy learning new things so hope my new humans will enjoy training with me.
