We have a 175 lb Cane Corso/Bullmastiff mix. He's a good boy and has always been good with our young girls but lately he's become irritable and my wife is starting to worry about our girls. He gets territorial around his kennel and is ok with his toys and food. He gets along with our cat and tolerates our female puppy for the most part and does play with her when he feels like it. He is a covid dog so we never really got to socialize him correctly. He's not the best on the leash so it's recommended somebody strong enough that can manage him. He's a good boy at the vet's office and they take him back by themselves and he behaves. I really don't want to put him in the shelter because I know he will become depressed and I don't want him put down but our options are dwindling and I really just want to find him a good home with people that will love him and cuddle him. That's all he wants. He thinks he's a lap dog. If you don't mind a bunch of slobber and having a horse in your house then he'd be great for you. Please give him a chance.
