About Louise w/ Thelma

Meet Louise (a Chihuahua) and Thelma (a Terrier mix). They are inseparable 2-year-old gals with a love story for the ages. These sweethearts were surrendered together and are clearly each other's ride-or-die. Louise even grooms Thelma, and they get anxious when apart, always looking for each other when separated. Playful, affectionate, and deeply bonded, Thelma and Louise thrive together. Louise may play bodyguard at first, especially when new people are around, but her little shield drops quickly once she knows you're kind. Because of this initial protectiveness, a calm home without small children would suit them best. Whether they're curled up in a shared crate, exploring the yard, or soaking up love from their favorite human, these two are happiest side by side. They're not just looking for a home, but they're looking for a place to stay together, forever. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good.
