LOCATION: Corpus Christi DOB: 05/27/2024 Moonshine is a joyful, affectionate Great Dane mix with a heart full of love and legs made for zoomies. She's the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, content just to be near her favorite person, whether you're folding laundry or fixing lunch. With a tail that never stops wagging and a playful sparkle in her eye, Moonshine is a constant reminder that life is better with a dog at your side. This bright girl loves learning new tricks-especially if treats are involved-and is already potty trained. She'll head to the door when nature calls and politely sit by her bowl to ask for food or water, even offering her paw as a sweet thank you. Moonshine is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night, though she may ask for a potty break or two. Afterward, she loves nothing more than snuggling back under the covers, pressed up against her person, safe and warm until breakfast. During the day, Moonshine finds delight in simple things-sunbathing on the porch, watching the birds go by, or helping you garden by digging enthusiastic (and unsupervised) holes. She can be sensitive to loud household noises like lawn mowers or power tools but doesn't mind the robot vacuum one bit. Baths and water play are a hit, though she hasn't yet tested her sea legs in a pool. Moonshine is the ultimate Velcro dog. She lives for cuddles, belly rubs, and naps by your side. She'll paw at the blankets to let you know she wants to burrow in with you and makes sure at least one part of her body is always touching yours. Her hugs and kisses are generous, her heart even more so. She's best suited to a home with dog-savvy kids-her joyful wiggles and enthusiastic tail wags might be a bit much for toddlers. She gets along with other dogs, though she brings a lot of energy to playtime and needs slow introductions to avoid overwhelming quieter pups. Cats pique her curiosity, but she doesn't quite know her size and may play a little too rough. Moonshine is a good traveler when her stomach is empty and she's safely buckled in, and she's doing well with leash training. In public and at home, she greets new people with friendly curiosity, though she'll give a bark or two at passersby to let them know she's on duty. With her affectionate nature, silly habits, and deep desire to bond, Moonshine is more than just a companion-she's your new best friend waiting to come home. ========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176 .
