ALEXA is the Sweetest Little Love Bug (Local Adoption Only) ALEXA is a 4.5 pound, 3-month-old mixed breed (we were told Dachshund mix) puppy. She and several other puppies were being given away in the parking lot of a grocery store when a kind-hearted woman saw the 'Free Puppy' sign and immediately rescued her from what could have been a dangerous situation. ALEXA is a typical, rambunctious puppy who loves to play, play, play! After burning off her energy, she enjoys snuggling up with the other puppies in her foster home for a nice long nap-until it's time to play again. ALEXA also loves being held, receiving affection, and giving sweet little kisses in return. ALEXA loves other dogs and would be happiest in a home with a small playmate. She hasn't been tested with cats yet. A home with children would be a wonderful match for her fun-loving and social personality. ALEXA rides well in the car and is pee pad trained. She is able to navigate stairs and ramps with ease. Because she is so active we would prefer a home with a fenced yard. At night, she sleeps in a small crate on her foster mom's bed for added protection and comfort. *Alexa has had her puppy shots and is microchipped with a lifetime registration but still needs to be spayed. Because of that she is local adoption only.* Adoption Application-- https://form.jotform.com/232395363383057 *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida.
