Quinny is a highly intelligent 10mo. female Aussie mix we lovingly adopted at 10wks old from a local rescue. Expected to be 28lbs when full grown. Quinny bonded tightly with the male in the household, but has resource guarding/territorial issues when in the house that is difficult to manage with young children. She has occasionally displayed shows of aggression to keep them away from a bed or toy. Because of this Quinny needs to be in a home without children where an experienced handler can help her conquer her fear in a more controlled environment. The ideal adopter would be a male with a playmate to help guide her. Quinny has been a star student in her obedience training. She is crate trained, house broken, knows all the basic commands, will heel on and off leash, respects the drop it and leave it commands, and is a master of fetch. She attends daycare several days a week and loves her k9 mates. She also loves our two kittens, and although she wants to play a little too rough for their current size, she has never tried to hurt one of them.
