About Jules

I got Jules at 8 weeks old from my sister when I bought a house after going through a break up & really needed a companion. He has been loved extremely well since then��%BD'��%BD|to the extent of being sung 'Jesus Lives Me' to him every night before bed lol. And he has been wonderfully therapeutic for me with the love he's showered on me without restraint. He had alot of energy as a puppy but was helped to calmed down once I was given a sweet adult German Shepherd (alpha) as a playmate for him. In the past year however, I've had some big life changes that have hindered the amount of time & money I'm able to invest in him & my other dog (so I'm having to rehome both). Jules is a friendly dog in the sense that he reallyyyy wants to be everyone's friend- people & dogs (he could use being exposed even more to other dogs though, as sometimes he doesn't know how to read a new dog's behavior). He absolutely adores & loves to play with my 3 young nieces. Unfortunately, due to my lifestyle I haven't been able to socialize him as much as I would have liked to or even train him to his fullest potential. He is SO smart. Therefore, I am really looking for the best fit home for him. I think he would do well with someone who would cuddle with him at home, but also take him on adventures - like a hiker or hunter��%BD'��%BD|OR even better with a family with a kid or kids who don't mind some rough play (he would be in heaven with kids around lol). I don't want him to feel betrayed by me, but gifted by me in me finding him a home he enjoys even more than mine! He is house trained, leash trained, & most of the time follow the commands I've taught him lol. (He's quite vocal at times, has learned the command 'quiet, but sometimes needs the help of a bark deterring remote I got on Amazon). So he would most benefit in a home with quality time attention, continual good training, & exposure to even more people/situations.
