'PARA PARA PARA' the kid is yelling at this poor dog who probably doesn't understand a damn thing he's saying and all the while yanking Silver's leash hard and jerking his neck back. Who makes these adoptions at ACC anyway? SILVER wasn't even with this family 2 weeks, not enough time to decompress, not enough time to properly get to know the members of his new family and certainly not enough time to possibly learn a new language. So obviously poor Silver is back and he has been nothing except a good, sweet boy. His medical exam note: 'Very friendly, sweet, excited. Gives kisses. Allows examination of paws and ventrum. Knows sit and paw..' His intake note: 'Silver was social and had a loose wiggly body. Silver was easily leashed and listened to commands to sit before being walked into kennel without issues.' So yes, he's super social, affectionate, wiggly and very sweet. There is nothing wrong with Silver, he was just adopted out to nincompoops who had no dog experience and didn't follow decompression protocol. Now he may lose his young life over it. It's simply not fair. In fact, it's total BS. Now poor Silver is starting to show signs of FAS (fear/anxiety/stress) at being back in a tiny dark kennel, and staff see him screaming in there, barking at every person or dog that passes by, begging for someone, anyone, to please visit him, take him out for a walk or to the play yard, someone to just give him a cuddle. It's so heartbreaking. This baby needs a family - an experienced family - one that will do right by him, love him, and not yank him around by the neck like he has no feelings. Please consider fostering or adopting Silver. He's a puppy. He needs patience, love and training. He certainly doesn't need to die over human failure. SILVER, ID# 225225, @ 1 Yr.
