About COCO PUFFS

Coco Puffs once had a home, a place where he basked in the warmth of the sunroom, where he stretched out in the backyard and let the breeze tousle his fur. He had loved his people. He had learned their routines, settled into their rhythm. But when they moved, he wasn't part of the plan. And suddenly, Coco Puff found himself in unfamiliar surroundings, searching for something steady to hold onto. At the care center, he was nervous at first, watching with cautious eyes, moving slowly as he processed each new moment. But even in the midst of uncertainty, he showed glimpses of who he truly is. He is a dog who loves deeply. He finds comfort in the arms of the shelter staff and volunteers who understand him. He leans in gently for pets, accepting treats, his tail tucked but slowly beginning to loosen as he realizes they want to be his friend. He isn't exuberant-he isn't the kind of dog who bounds into new situations without a second thought-he is thoughtful. He is steady. He wants to trust, and when given the space to do so, he does. Outside, he relishes exploring the play yard, moving with curiosity, taking in the scents that surround him. He loves his walks-not rushed, not hurried, but moments where he can stretch his legs and take in the world at his own pace. We know that in his prior life when it came to car rides he was in his element! There was something about watching the world pass by from the comfort of a car that soothed him. Coco knows the commands 'sit,' 'inside,' 'outside,' and 'eat.' He listens well, eager to understand what is asked of him. Coco is a family pet. A proven family member.
