About Winston

It's with a heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for our 4 year old dachshund, Winston. Winston is very lovable, playful and loyal, however he suffers from high anxiety and separation issues. We've mostly been able to manage it over the years, however we now have 2 young children at home and these recent changes have elevated Winston's anxiety levels. We are no longer able to give him the time and attention he needs to be able to manage his anxiety. We are looking for a family that has experience with dachshunds, ideally has dachshunds at home as Winston loved to play with his own breed. He needs a family that's well grounded, doesn't travel a lot or leave him alone for long periods, and most importantly, has time to play with him and to return the love to him that he gives to others. We are not in an immediate rush and Winston will continue to live at home until we can find the right family for him. Thank you
