About Ace

I need a home with no poultry! Absolutely no birds UNLESS I am hunting! Hey guys. My name is Ace, I am a 5 year old (03/02/2020) American Labrador. I am very energetic, smart dog. Unfortunately due to my parents separating, I either need a new family or someone willing to foster me for around 5 months while my dad works on getting a house. I need a fenced in yard, probably no livestock or chickens/birds. I am a hunting dog, so I do have a prey drive. I would do best with a more submissive housemate, if male would be best for him to be neutered. I need a home with no cats or a separate area away from them. I do fine with children. I just don't know how big I am. I do pull on a leash, I am currently using a prong but still pull. I wouldn't use a harness for just walking due to me pulling. I would be a great hunting companion, or a scent dog. I love car rides, I like my head out the window! I do get some separation anxiety and will jump at the door or bark. But I don't get destructive. I need tough toys as i am a hard chewer. I have no allergies, and I am up to date with my shots expect bordetella. I do not have food or toy aggression with humans but prefer to keep bones and new or special toys to myself and not share with other dogs. I have been to the dog park and did fine. I eat Hills diet large breed, I like to eat really fast. I am very treat and toy motivated. One of my humans (the one posting this) would enjoy if she could visit me or get updates. I have been an outdoor dog my whole life, but with enough training I could be an indoor dog. Commands I know: Sit, down, stay, come, wait, through, around, sit pretty, talk/talk shit, and more.
