About Chipper

Chipper is a 4-year-old, 18 lb. Jack Russell Terrier with a heart as big as his love for adventure. This happy-go-lucky guy has been deeply loved since he was a puppy, but due to his current mom's demanding work schedule, Chipper is now looking for a new home where he can get the attention and companionship he thrives on. True to his JRT nature, Chipper is energetic, playful, and always up for a walk or a romp with his toys. He's also a total sweetheart who loves to snuggle and follow his people from room to room-your own little shadow! He's great with kids, does well with other dogs, and is even good with cats (though he might give a playful chase now and then). Chipper is crate and house trained, knows his basic commands, and walks nicely on leash. He does take gabapentin and trazodone to help manage some separation anxiety, so a home where someone is around most of the day would be ideal.
