CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNK FOLDER IF%A0 DON'T RECEIVE A REPLY TO AN INQUIRY INDOOR ONLY HOMES Daxby came into the rescue on May 19, 2025.%A0 He showed up in a backyard in the Inland Empire. We have no idea where he came from. Daxby has an estimated date of birth of April 6, 2025. He was neutered on August 8, 2025. He currently weighs about three pounds. Daxby has captured my heart! I hope he will capture yours too. Since he arrived here as a baby, I have coddled him and made him into a very social and loveable little boy. He is always eager to greet you at the edge of his enclosure!%A0 He is super easy to pick up and doesn't fight you.%A0 He is still young and energetic so doing zoomies and binkies is big time fun! Once he's all tuckered out, he loves cuddling on the couch. He loves kisses on his nose. This far, he doesn't seem to be a big chewer. He does have good litter box habits. Daxby should start out living in a 30' or higher exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. He can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage or hutch is not recommended! Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Daxby can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.%A0 PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies! If you have a spayed/neutered single bun searching for a friend, there are plenty of rescue rabbits here available for my signature rapid romance bunny bonding. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
