About Riley

We adopted Riley 4 years ago from a shelter in Philadelphia. 90% of the time Riley is the sweetest and biggest love bug. However, she has an issue with other dogs on the leash. Up until now we have been able to manage it but recently she went after a dog that was walking past our house. While she has never shown any aggression towards people she does get worked up when she sees kids on bikes and scoooters. We worked with a trainer who said that was very common with the terrier that is likely part of her mixed breed. Since we have a toddler at home and young kids in the neighborhood we are no longer willing to take the risk that she wont leave our yard again and go after another dog or worse a person. She has no issue with our other dog in the house or on the leash. She loves people and is very good with our son but if she gets worked up in the house we do get anxious. She would do so well with someone who just want a love bug to snuggle and lives out of a city of neighborhood
