About Chase

Chase is a 6 yr old young adult dog who was rescued from Seattle. He was in a bad living situation (practically living outside) so my husband drove him cross country to Maryland. He is a very sweet and super energetic. He gets along with smaller dogs (we lived with a yorkie). Since he has been with us he only shown to be caring and very cuddly. He does need a bit more training (He has a resource guarding issue from his previous situation) but we have taught how to be house trained, to sit and love car rides. Reason(s) for surrender: We currently have a one year old and the dog has shown signs of resource guarding towards the baby. We have consulted with the vet and he recommended we rehome of the dog. It is trainable. We would prefer someone near us to see if we are able to visit him. We would not give up the dog if it wasn't for our child's safety.
