His name is 'BODE (BOHDI) '. Background: Rescued about a year and a half ago from a Rescue that is now ghosting the Current Shepherd Parent. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. NOT Good with kids, REACTIVE TO ALL STRANGERS, EVEN KIDS). REACTIVE TO dogs, but good with dogs that he lives with. NOT Good with cats. House trained, but will sometimes mark in the home. NOT Crate trained, will chew up and shred anything in his crate and also mark in the crate. He has been trained to Free Roam the home, so please continue working with him and not crate him. He has severe Crate Anxiety. No known medical issues. HIGH ENERGY . HIGH PREY DRIVE. STRANGER/KID/DOG REACTIVE Currently on KIRKLAND ADULT food. Weighs 50 lbs. Good with car rides. Loves: chew bones and antlers - squeaky toys - stuffies - treats - peanut butter - Outside Time - chasing - cuddling - going on walks - chilling on the couch- playing with kids that he knows - playing with family dogs - playing fetch - sleeping in bed with his person - being near his person - snuggling - getting lovings. NOT Good with meeting new people. REACTIVE. ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!!! Bode needs an amazing companion ASAP. He has some Behavioral Issues and needs someone to work with him and hopefully get him off of his medication that he is currently on. He is on Sertraline and Trazodone. He is Reactive to dogs, strangers and even kids. He usually needs to be premedicated when he goes out in public around strangers. He is very smart. He does NOT have good Recall and needs lots of work on that. He is okay on a leash but will pull. He is lovable and sweet to his person. Eager and fast learner. The Current Shepherd Parent needs to re home Bode because they just cannot commit to giving him what he needs. Bode needs someone who is experienced, who can help work through his Reactiveness and be able to be a better companion for him. Bodi is an escape artist and he does jump fences to escape. I feel that if he is with someone that is home a lot that can give him all the attention and work that he needs, that this situation will improve and he will not want to run off. Because of his Crate Anxiety, he will thrive best with someone who will continue to allow him to Free Roam the home and not crate. Comes with: collar, leash, bow, crate, toys, food, meds.
