About Opel

Meet Opel! This tiny girl is on the hunt for her forever home - if you are looking for a small dog who ADORES her humans, she might be the perfect fit for you! Opel came into foster care the day she delivered FIVE puppies. Even though she is only a couple of years old, she was a good and protective mother. She was understandably very nervous at first, but has calmed down now that she isn't so worried about being a perfect mother. Now that she is done with her puppy raising, Opel is happy to be in the house with the other dogs. She loves sitting in laps, or, at the very least, right next to you on the sofa. She wants to be invited to the party - any party. She loves soft dog beds, good food and yummy treats. She might take a little while to get comfortable in her new home, but once she is, she throws her whole heart into being a part of the family. Opel is young, spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on shots. She sleeps in a crate, but would much prefer to share a human bed. She is working on house training, but sometimes is just SO excited to see you, she forgets. She gets along with other dogs as long as they aren't trying to help her finish her food or take over her dog bed. But she wants so much to make you happy and will do almost anything for treats, she'll be a fast learner. Opel has had a rough go as a homeless young mother and deserves a home where she can just be a DOG.
