About COLBY

COLBY is a 6-month-old 5.2 pound Maltipoo surrendered by his owner because she has health issues and he was too active for her. COLBY is a total sweetheart-a loving little guy who adores cuddles and thrives on affection. He has a playful spirit and loves running around outside. Whether he's romping with his dog friends or entertaining himself with toys, COLBY always finds a way to have fun. COLBY gets along well with all the other dogs in his foster home and loves to play with them. He is social and fits in beautifully with a pack. We believe his best home will have another small dog in it and that's what we are looking for. COLBY is not fully potty trained yet, but he's making great progress considering he had not been worked with before. Unfortunately he came in wearing a diaper and a belly band that he had pretty much worn his whole life, so much he has yellow stained fur. We shaved him down to get rid of the worst of it and his fur should grow back nice and white. He knows how to use the doggy door and steps, and he sleeps comfortably in a puppy pen at night or when left alone. With continued care and patience, this playful little love bug will be the perfect companion. To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Please remember to check your spam folder for any communication from our team. Unless otherwise stated, all of our dogs have been to the vet for a wellness check, are up to date on shots, are spayed/neutered, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Dogs 1 year old and over are heartworm tested and received a year of heartworm prevention with a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot. We adopt to homes within a 1-6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and some dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally. We do not ship or transport our dogs.
