Hi, I'm Rosie - and I've come a long way to get to this moment. I was rescued from Mexico as a tiny puppy, part of a litter that didn't know much about the world except to be afraid of it. Our mama must've taught us that people weren't safe, and that fear stuck with me. I've been with my rescue family for five years now, slowly learning, growing, and watching the world from a distance. And you know what? I think I'm finally ready to find my forever person. I'm still a quiet girl, the kind who prefers calm over chaos and presence over pressure. I don't need much-just someone gentle, patient, and full of love. Someone who doesn't expect me to be the life of the party, but who will let me be near them, relax at my own pace, and know that I'm trying. My absolute favorite thing in the world? The dog beach. It's where I come alive. The moment my paws hit the sand, all the fear melts away. I run, I splash, I chase the wind-off leash and free, like I was always meant to be. The right home for me will make sure that joy stays part of my life. It's where I feel brave. It's where I feel me. I'm a 25-pound beagle mix, quiet and low-key, and I've waited a long time to meet the person who sees my heart and says, 'You're safe now.' If you're that person, I'm ready. I'm in San Diego, and my rescue will support you every step of the way. Just reach out-and let's begin our beautiful journey together.
