About HONEY - TX Rescue Dog

Adoption Fee: $350
German Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

A long lost German Shepherd who probably thought she was being rescued tried to make friends with the uncaring dog-catchers who shoved her in the back of their truck and dumped her at a high-kill pound in rural Texas, where the highly adoptable dog was locked in a cage, given a number but no name, and was cruelly scheduled for death for no reason other than convenience. A kindhearted local doctor happened to notice the beautiful Shepherd tragically languishing on death row and contacted a 501(c)(3) rescue group, and volunteered to foster her until the rescue group could find her a loving forever home. The doctor turned foster mom quickly fell in love with the especially sweet dog whom she aptly named HONEY, because she immediately discovered that HONEY loves absolutely everyone she meets, including perfect strangers, kids, other dogs and yes, even cats! Believed to be around five years old, HONEY is a 65lb low energy velcro dog who loves to cuddle even more than she loves to do zoomies in the open fields behind her foster home. HONEY is not only gentle and sensitive but she's also curious and intelligent and learns very quickly. HONEY is neutered, housebroken, up-to-date on all shots and in perfect health. HONEY's rescue will transport her to any loving home in the northeast! For more pictures, videos or to adopt HONEY, please call Andrew anytime at (646) 387-9868. Thank You for your interest in HONEY, the most lovable Texas rescue Shepherd ever!
