About Freya

Freya is a young pup that is friendly, sweet, and likes to cuddle. She is house trained and has had a couple of accidents in the time we have had her. She is eager to please and loves to train and receive treats and praise for it. She gets along well with children and adults of both sexes. She does have a bite history with our resident dog of nine years. This is why we can't keep her. She has only acted aggressively towards our other dog when resource guarding my spouse. She does not resource guard treats, food, or water though. Our dogs get along most of the time though. To be on the safe side, I wouldn't recommend her being in a home with another dog. We want her to have a long, healthy, and good life with an owner who loves her. We are sad that it can't be us but we need to prioritize the safety and well-being of our dog that we've had for a much longer time. She is also being medicated for issues with anxiety and needs a home that is willing to continue this treatment with their vet. If she isn't medicated then she pants/paces constantly and licks objects and people obsessively. The medications cost about $26 a month with goodRX. Please help us to find a good home for our beloved pet!
