Rosie has been a sweet, clever pup with a whole lot of personality and a heart full of love. Rosie knows how to sit, lay down, shake, give a high five, and even a fist bump. Rosie likes going on walks and exploring the world one sniff at a time, but she's just as happy at home playing with her soft stuffed toys, chewing on a good ol' tennis ball or taking long naps wherever her humans are. And when her humans come home after being out for a while? Rosie lets them know exactly how she feels-with a full-on Husky-style conversation that's half greeting, half hilarious commentary. Rosie gets along great with smaller dogs and loves being social, but with larger dogs, she sometimes likes to test who's boss-she's not one to back down from an alpha challenge. Why We're Rehoming Rosie: This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family, and it comes from a place of love and concern for everyone's safety-Rosie's included. Recently, Rosie bit our young son. Becuase he is young the injury was serious enough to make us realize that we cannot take the risk of it happening again. We've done our best to understand what caused the incident, but we have not been able to identify a clear trigger. While Rosie has always been a loving and loyal companion, we believe she would do best in a home without young children, where she can feel more secure and where her boundaries can be better respected and understood. This decision has been incredibly painful, but our priority is making sure both Rosie and our family are in the environments that are safest and healthiest for them. We know that in the right home, Rosie will continue to be the wonderful, affectionate, and playful dog we know and love.
