Gustavo was rescued from a kill-shelter in Dallas, TX, just days before he was set to be added to the euthanasia list. He was accepted into an unofficial foster agreement after an unfortunate incident at his first adoptive home, where he was attacked by a resident dog (thankfully, Gustavo was unharmed). I took him in under the intent of a two-month foster period. However, due to a new job and an unexpected move, I am now seeking a permanent, loving home for him. Gustavo is an extremely friendly and social dog who engages warmly with both people and other dogs. He's curious about other animals and situations, though he sometimes lacks awareness of boundaries and can be a little rough during play. He is athletic, house-trained, and knows basic commands. Gustavo has no known health issues and would thrive with an active family or individual who can continue to guide his energy in a positive direction. If you're looking for a happy, affectionate companion, Gustavo would love to meet you
