I just watched a video of Benny and I can't stop crying. He's lying in a tiny cage where he spends every moment of every day-his soft whines echo through the metal bars as he pleads to be let out. To be loved. To be seen. That cage is all he knows now. | and it's breaking him. This post is going out like a prayer into the universe-begging for his angel to find him. Because time is running out. Benny's family, shattered by impossible circumstances, has made a soul-crushing decision: if no one steps up, Benny will be taken to ACCT Philly, a crowded shelter where dogs are being euthanized every single day. There's no space and will be euthanized . This Sunday they will take him there at the end of May . Not one phone call or text came in for this sweet fellow . At 10 years old, Benny will be one of the first to be murdered. Please-we are begging. Don't let this be how his story ends. Benny, is the most gentle, loyal soul. He's only ever known love-he was raised in a family full of warmth, children (a toddler and a teen), even cats. He's never shown an ounce of aggression. Just a sweet, playful heart longing for connection. His beloved owner is now battling severe dementia and will soon enter a care facility. There is no one left for Benny. The home he once knew is gone. The arms that held him are fading into memory. And now, this beautiful boy is on the edge of being tossed away like he never mattered. But he matters. Benny is leash trained. He bathes easily. His spirit is still intact. His heart still believes in people. Please-we need a foster ASAP or an adopter. Someone with just a little space and a lot of love. Someone to remind Benny that he's still worthy. Still cherished. Still alive. He's in Philadelphia, but we will help with transport if you're willing to open your home. Please don't scroll past him. Be the hand that reaches through those bars. Be the voice that says, 'You're safe now.' Be the one who saves his life. If you can help, please text Kat at 516-457-3678. Even if you can't adopt-share. spread the word. You could be the reason Benny gets his second chance. Please. Help us save Benny. Sent me a text and I will sent you his videos says 1,000 words a picture can not capture his joyous personality.
