Meet Sydney - A Spirited Survivor with a Heart Full of Love Sweet, spunky Sydney is a little sized dog with a huge heart-and a story that will touch yours. She was found living on the railroad tracks with her best friend Freddie after being cruelly dumped and left to starve. For two long weeks, she struggled to survive-but even then, her spark never faded. Today, Sydney is thriving. She's smart, potty trained, knows basic commands, and affectionate, and full of joyful energy, always ready to play, explore, and show off her newest trick. She absolutely loves other dogs-they're her favorite playmates and snuggle buddies. In fact, Sydney would do best in a home with at least one other dog, as she thrives on companionship and loves to curl up with a friend (canine or human!) when the fun is done. Sydney is also incredibly cuddly-she melts into your lap and adores being close to her people. She's always up for an adventure, but she also knows how to settle down for a cozy nap next to someone she loves. This little dynamo will need a home that can keep up with her active mind and body-she'll do best with regular exercise, mental stimulation, and someone who appreciates her lively spirit. If you're looking for a loving, loyal, and lively addition to your pack, Sydney is waiting to meet you. **********PUPDATE: Sydney's story started in May, when she and her brother Freddie were found starving on the side of the road. Freddie has since found his forever home'| now it's Sydney's turn. This sweet, smart girl is a little over a year old, weighs about 35 lbs, and is bursting with love (and zoomies!). She's great with other dogs, loves people and cats, and has even been around farm animals. Sydney is the perfect mix of high-energy playmate and snuggly couch companion. She's happiest when she's hiking, exploring, or learning new tricks (she picks them up fast!). After an adventure, she's all about curling up beside you for cuddles. She would thrive in an active home with another playful dog and a family ready to make her part of all their fun. Once you meet Sydney, you'll have a loyal best friend for life. %90 s
