Background: UTD on shots WITH record. NOT Fixed. Good with kids. UNKNOWN with dogs, but has always been good around them when passing them on walks and is good with other family dogs who visit. He stays with a, family member when needed and they have other dogs and he has always done very well. UNKNOWN with cats. House trained. NOT Crate trained. Shaka does NOT need to be crated. He is NOT comfortable when the crate door is closed. The Current Shepherd Parent does have a crate, but always leaves the door open. He is trained to Free Roam the home or stay outside in a fenced and safe yard when left home alone. No known medical issues. Currently on 'Pedigree Dry with Pedigree Wet' mixed in food. Weighs 108 lbs. Good with car rides. Loves: watching out the door - being near his person - going into stores and walking around - going on walks - Outside Time - cuddling - belly scratches - playing with kids - squeaky balls - playing fetch - peace and quiet time- watching 'Pet TV' on YouTube. CAUTIOUS with meeting new people. ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!!! Shaka is such a great boy. Someone is going to be very lucky to adopt him. He is very chill and laid-back. He does not like drama, busyness or craziness. He has a good personality, and good temperament. He is cautious when he is around strangers. He is NOT aggressive, but he is cautious. Some people are intimidated by his size, but once he is given time to sniff things out and realize you are not a threat, everything is okay. Do not ever let anyone just come up and approach him . Proper Introduction is a MUST. He is very intelligent and knows Basic Commands. He has OK Recall. He is OK on a leash when with a harness. He is lovable. He is an eager and fast learner. The Current Shepherd Parent walks Shaka through the neighborhood and everyone loves him. He is very loyal and protective. The Current Shepherd Parent needs to re home Shaka because her elderly father has become ill and she is caring for him. Shaka is left alone too much and she knows that he deserves more and better than that. Shaka needs a home that has time for him, to give him the love and attention that he desperately needs and deserves. The Current Shepherd Parent loves him very much, but knows that he deserves better. She will drive to you in Ohio if you are APPROVED. Comes with: collar, leash, harness, crate, food, bowls.
