About Nyx

I am looking to re-home our family dog, Nyx. He is 5 years old and my family has been his only owners. We got him and his sister when they were about 8 weeks old during COVID. He was not socialized properly and is reactive around other dogs, loud motor vehicles and bikes. In July of 2024 my Mom was playing with him and Nyx heard my Dad get home (close his car door and lock it) and jumped while barking and his teeth went into my Mom's face by accident but was reported as a bite to animal control Then a few days ago my younger brother was standing over Nyx playing with him and Nyx was intimidated and bit my brother on the face resulting in 13 stitches and many bruises. I would love to keep Nyx but my family no longer wishes for him to be in the house, I am finishing up my last year of school and am not currently working and living with my parents and do not have the funds to move myself and Nyx within their allotted time. And my family has scheduled him for a euthanasia, I am coming to Facebook as a last plea for help. I have been reaching out to veterinarians and trainers looking for somewhere to give him a new forever home with no luck. I am looking for someone with animal knowledge and that can handle his needs better than my family could. I don't simply want him to go to a shelter as I know with his bite history he could be a liability. I just want to know that he is same and cared for
