Maui is almost 6 years old, dog friendly, calm, low energy, people pleaser, happy go lucky guy who wants nothing but to be loved. He is playful, up for anything and when excited he will twirl while vocalizing how happy he is :) He LOVES his walks, and is always ready to go. He learned how to go down the stairs and the foster is working with him on going up the stairs. The foster summarizes Maui as the best version of a dog, a dog can be! Sounds complicated, nope, this is a fancy way of saying he's a really great dog, and a wonderful companion for any age adopter. He will get busy when you're busy and will settle when nothing is going on! Whoever adopts him will not regret doing so! He gets along great with other dogs and has no problems with cats. He loves to play! Even though he has a bit of a limp, it doesn't slow him down. He keeps up just fine with other dogs. He hasn't had a lot of experience being in a home but he is loving every minute of it, and with that comes the need for patience and consistency in working on his house training.'
