We adopt nationwide Meet Fergus - A Big Heart Wrapped in Fluffy Puppy Sweetness (and a Very Questionable Haircut) Fergus is a resilient and love-filled Saint Bernard puppy who's already come such a long way. Though his early months were marked by neglect, you'd never know it by his joyful spirit and eagerness to connect. Estimated to be around 8 months old, Fergus is developmentally closer to a 4-month-old pup-full of curiosity, wonder, and a strong desire to explore the world�'�| mostly with his mouth! He's still learning that humans aren't just big puppies and that our hands, feet, and clothing aren't chew toys. Because of this, Fergus would do best in a home without children under 13. He's a sweet boy who's figuring out boundaries and just needs patient guidance and love. Now, let's talk about that haircut. Due to the rough situation he came from, Fergus arrived with a coat that had to be shaved down�'�| and let's just say it's not winning any awards. We like to think of it as his 'character haircut'-a little uneven, a lot charming, and somehow it just makes you love him even more. Don't worry, his glorious Saint Bernard floof is on its way back in! Fergus lights up when meeting new people and dogs, and he's very curious about cats-so a home with dog-savvy cats would be best. He's working hard on house training and still needs consistent help with basic manners, but he's smart and eager to please. With his goofy charm, questionable hairstyle, and giant heart, Fergus is ready to find a family who can see past where he's been and help him grow into the amazing companion we know he can be. He is currently being fostered in the Nashville TN area. We adopt NATIONWIDE but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up.
