CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNK FOLDER IF%A0 DON'T RECEIVE A REPLY TO AN INQUIRY INDOOR ONLY HOMES Tuft was born to one of ten rabbits rescued from a Fullerton school yard. Sometime in 2024 someone released two bunnies in the school vegetable garden and of course you know what happens when unfixed rabbits are left to their own devices--they make babies! Tuft has an estimated date of birth of March 20, 2025. He was rescued from the school at approximately three weeks of age. Tuft has been getting lots of socializing at his foster home. Here's what the foster home says about him: 'He likes to be held and cuddled. He's very curious and not skittish. He definitely likes to snuggle and he's interested in whatever you do. He'll actually come up and ask to be petted. He absolutely loves to have his ears and cheeks rubbed. You can handle his tail, his feet and his entire body.' Tuft will be back at the rescue very soon and available on a foster-to-adopt basis. When he's old enough for neuter (probably in July) he will need to be brought back to the rescue for one to two days for transport to his neuter appointment. Once neutered the adoption will be finalized. Tuft should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. He can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Tuft can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.%A0 PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies! If you have a spayed/neutered single bun searching for a friend, there are plenty of rescue rabbits here available for my signature rapid romance bunny bonding.
