Ollie is a happy-go-lucky black lab mix with a heart as big as his playful spirit. He's the kind of dog that turns heads at the dog park-not just because of his adorable goofy grin, but because of the pure joy he brings to every game and every friend he meets. This sweet boy lives for playtime-especially fetch! No matter how far you throw the ball, Ollie will gleefully chase it down and bring it right back, ready to go again and again. After a fun playdate, he's more than happy to wind down with some chill time-curled up by your side, soaking in the love. Ollie absolutely adores people and thrives on companionship. He's incredibly eager to please and picks up on training quickly-he even sits and patiently waits for his command before eating! He's still growing into his body, and he doesn't always pick up on cues to tone down his energy, so he's best suited for a household with kids who can handle his playful enthusiasm (he may unintentionally knock over the smallest ones!). When it comes to other dogs, Ollie would do best with a playmate who matches his energy. He's a social butterfly, getting along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and personalities, but may not be the best fit for a home with older dogs or those who aren't as interested in frequent invitations to play. He's crate trained and settles in easily when left alone, keeping himself content and entertained in his crate. He's also a champ during bath time-happy to be pampered and always on his best behavior. Ollie is a pre-teen pup who is still developing, but with the right continuation of training to perfect his manners, he's sure to become a great dog. His adopter will need to be committed to guiding him through his growth, but in return, Ollie will be your loyal, loving, and playful companion.
