About Daisy

Daisy is a beautiful, 3-year-old purebred Basset Hound who has been a beloved part of our family for the past two years. She has the most soulful brown eyes that melt your heart and is the ultimate cuddle buddy. However, as our lives have changed and we're now away from home full-time, we realize that Daisy needs more companionship and attention than we can currently provide. Like many Basset Hounds, Daisy has a strong, independent personality and can be quite stubborn. She experiences some separation anxiety and will sometimes have accidents in the house when left alone. She also prefers a calm and respectful environment-while she has never bitten, she does growl when she wants her space. Because of this, we believe she would thrive best in a home without small children and with someone who can spend most of the day with her. Letting her go is heartbreaking, especially for our children, but we want to ensure she is in a home where she will feel happy, comfortable, and well-cared for.
